At Live Well Community Church , we strive to meet the needs of people in our community by meeting them exactly where they are at in their lives.

With your support, we can help them keep the dignity they so deserve.

• Every day, we see the impact of Live Well's outreach on individuals and families within our extremely rural and isolated community. You only need to google "Tiddville", "Freeport" or "Westport" to see for yourself where we live. The Town of Digby is the closest Town and it is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes and 2 Ferry rides for people who live in Westport.
• Food insecurity is a very real problem. Prior to COVID, 2 in 4 homes were food insecure, and now that stat is higher. For some homes, our small church is all they have as a lifeline.
• We have been blessed with grants and donors since 2017, but we need a consistent stream of funds. We have had to turn families away, and it is not something we like to do. We recently had to turn away a 73 year old female who has no electricity, no phone, no vehicle and now no wood for winter. We can not buy her wood, but we can give her food.
• With your help, we can do so much more. By joining us in this campaign, you'll be part of change for our community. Hope for seniors who fall through the social cracks. Hope for parents who are wondering where the food is going to come from next week. We deliver every 2 weeks based on what that family eats, not what is left over from food rescue. We focus on nutrition because healthy people are happier and live longer. They just do!
• Your donation will make a real difference. We get to know our clients through our Client Profiles, which you are more than welcome to see. We are so much more than a church. Yes our motto as you walk out the door reads, "Helping People Connect to God Through Faith in Jesus Christ", but we truly want to be His hands and feet and show people they matter to us. We are there for them. We build relationships and friendships. Through CONNECTCare, we have helped people receive medical care, grants for heat pumps, and even a much needed drilled well.
