At Cecil Community Centre, we’re proud to offer a vibrant Seniors Program serving over 200 older adults in the Kensington–Spadina–Chinatown community.
From Tai Chi and Zumba to choir, table tennis, and digital literacy workshops — our programs bring energy, friendship, and purpose to seniors five days a week, year-round.
Our core funding covers only the basic operational costs — things like space and essential supplies. But the programs that make our centre special — the wellness workshops, social events, arts and cultural activities, and digital learning — rely on additional funding from our community.
That’s why we’re raising funds to build a three-year sustainability reserve to cover these important extras and keep our programming consistent, creative, and responsive to our seniors’ needs.
