Centra Cam Vocational Training Association has been an integral part of the Camrose community for many years. Working to provide opportunities for independence for adults with disabilities through skill building, workplace training, volunteer placements, employment supports and employment retention. The pandemic has slowed down our efforts within the community but we continue to provide support, training and advocacy for our clients.
Centra Cam's Annual Bowl-A-Thon is back! This year will be different than any year in the past. We are looking forward to hosting this event and engaging the bowlers and supporters in the community in a new and fun way!
A portion of the proceeds raised will be going towards enhancing and encouraging physical activity for our clients! Physical activity plays an important role in everyone's health, well-being and quality of life. The rest of the proceeds will be going towards facility upgrades and other needed equipment.
You can support the 2021 Bowl-A-Thon by:
1. DONATING to a team (if you are unsure of which client team to support they are grouped into teams by the first letter of their last name).
2. SHARING the Bowl-A-Thon with your friends and family through email, social media and word of mouth!!
Charitable Fundraising Act (CFA)
Statement of Fundraising Costs: For the
Bowl-A-Thon our goal is to raise $20,000 with fundraising costs of
24%.
The proceeds will go towards: Exercise Equipment and
Facility and Equipment Upgrades.
The costs related to this event
are for the fundraising platform, processing fees, rental of venue,
prizes, gifts, paper, postage and advertising.
