Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks (ASSP) is a charitable not-for profit running on the power of volunteers.💪

With over 55 volunteer instructors last season, we delivered almost 500 weekly ski and snowboard lessons to students living with disabilities. And in the Summer of 2023, we reached an organizational milestone by offering our first ever summer programs! 😎

Since our inception in 2008, ASSP continues to grow and develop it's programming through fundraising efforts fueled by community support. 🔥

We are in the process of upgrading our fleet of old sit skis with brand new technologies. With your help this Giving Tuesday, we can purchase one more sit ski, bringing our grand total to 3 new sit skis!

This Year Tourism Sun Peaks is hosting the November Month of Giving culminating with GivingTuesday on, Dec 3, 2024, a global day of giving. We hope you will join us in supporting our fundraising drive this November

Last year, our generous supporters contributed $4330, and Tourism Sun Peaks was able to match up to $2660 in donations, helping us reach an impressive $6990 for ASSP!

Tourism Sun Peaks is committed to match donations again this year, which means your donations will go twice as far. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

 

Because of generous donors like you, we  can continue to provide accessible outdoor adventures for individuals living with physical, visual and/or neuro-divergent challenges from as close to home as Kamloops & Sun Peaks, as well as from around the world. 🌍
