How a Client Overcame Their Struggles with Donor Help

Let us introduce you to Shelly. At only 8 years old she struggles with serious anxiety, ADHD, fears, and loneliness. She lacks appropriate emotional regulation and can become very angry easily and without warning, especially if her emotional needs are not being met. Both parents are also struggling with serious mental health problems which affect their ability to work and take care of their three children. Shelly is a very likable child but has not been getting her emotional needs met. Without school due to Covid, she lacks positive stimulation from her friends.

By providing fee subsidies given kindly to Regesh (directly to the family), over the past five months, we have been working individually with Shelly to increase her self-esteem, confidence and manage her anger. Today, she understands the various emotions which, prior to therapy, were controlling her life. Likewise, both parents are in therapy with Regesh as we proceed to deal with their individual problems and increase their parenting skills.
