Boys and Girls Club of Red Deer has been serving Red Deer and Central Alberta since 1983.  

Our Mission is to empower children and youth to develop confidence and skills for life, through healthy relationships and quality experiences.  

The Club offers a variety of community-based programs and services that are barrier-free and accessible to all children and youth, with an emphasis on those families experiencing economic challenges.

Activities include community-based after-school programs, recreational drop-in programs, small group clubs, youth leadership, wilderness-based life skills opportunities, mentorship, education and career exploration, crisis and outreach support, summer camps, active kids program in addition to programs that support diverse populations.

Boys and Girls Club is part of Youth HQ, which also houses the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Red Deer, the 49th Street Youth Emergency Shelter and Camp Alexo.  Youth HQ is your place to ... be yourself, ask tough questions, be heard, accepted, create change, make a difference.
