Green Burial BC (aka Natural Burial in BC) is all about education, advocacy, and action.
We two-leggeds are wreaking havoc on the planet. This beautiful
dying world needs all the help it can get.
Consider this simple final act of kindness once you’re dead.
A Natural Burial.
Shrouded and given to the ground to nourish life.
Naturally buried with no need for buildings or concrete or
furnaces. Simply wrapped in cloth and given to the earth, the roots
of trees, the quiet mosses.
The other side of that is, “Where can we accomplish this?” Is
Natural Burial available in your neck of the woods? It ought to be
an option in every community in BC. It ought to be permitted on our
own rural land, easily and inexpensively. There ought to be a
Natural Burial Sanctuary near you.
This is what Green Burial BC is working to accomplish.
Certainly not alone, but together with all the folks who want the
same thing.
My name is Nicola Finch. I own and manage the website and social
media accounts for Green Burial BC. I offer presentations online,
information tables at farmer's markets, resources, and outreach to
anyone interested. I research and advocate. All of this has been a
labour of love begun in June 2015.
I am reaching out to ask for your financial support.
I do not need a ton of money, but I would love some assistance
with the costs of maintaining the domain name, the website, and
social media accounts, the Zoom account, and my time.
I have nothing to offer other than my gratitude and my promise to
continue working toward the goal of a Natural Burial option in every
community in BC.
