SUN PEAKS SKATEPARK FOUNDATION

We are a charitable organization dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive and dynamic space where individuals of all ages and ability can come together and skate, connect and thrive.  We believe in the power of skateboarding to foster creativity, confidence and camaraderie among our community members and visitors alike.

Did you know Sun Peaks is the fastest growing municipality in British Columbia?  Sun Peaks also sees thousands of visitors per year that come to participate in the activities that we have to offer.  We want to provide a world-class skatepark that everyone can enjoy.

Progress...

  • Our 4 CORNERS are a reality (Thank You to Sun Peaks Municipality and SD73 for making this happen!)
  • GEOTECHNICAL SURVEY is complete!
  • We have commercial PARTNERS and community members that have pledged in-kind materials and labour
  • DESIGN is the new step.  Our goal is to have the design completed by Spring 2025.
  • Our GOAL is to break ground in Summer 2025!
