Ever since the end of the Holocaust, governments, communities, and individuals all around the world have vowed to “never again” let genocide happen.
However, mass murders in places like Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, Congo, and Sudan have shown that vow to be unfulfilled. Almost 80 years later, violence and mass atrocities, including genocide, are still global problems that affect countless communities. While the international community is obligated to prevent these crimes, it often fails to do so, which not only costs many lives but also threatens the peace and stability of the entire world.
That’s why helping people to prevent and survive atrocities is of paramount importance. It is, quite simply, the right thing to do and the Sentinel Project is dedicated to that mission. The Sentinel Project is one of the very few organizations that work directly on the ground alongside affected communities to prevent violence and help people to avoid danger. Our work is often difficult and dangerous but it’s always worth doing.
That’s why we need your help. One of our biggest challenges is to find steady financial support that will sustain the Sentinel Project’s life-saving work far into the future.
That’s why we need 100 monthly donors to each contribute at least $10 a month and help us reach a steady monthly income of $1,000 to meet our most critical needs.
