For many children and youth, the joy of cheering in an arena, being inspired by a live performance, or joining a community event is something they watch from afar. Not because they lack curiosity or excitement—but because barriers stand in the way.
We are The Ticket Charity, we believe every child deserves moments of joy, belonging, and inspiration. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of children and families by building connections, promoting inclusion, and strengthening communities through free access to unforgettable experiences.
Through our flagship programs, InterActive and All Access, donated tickets and opportunities become more than seats at events—they become moments that spark confidence, skills, and hope. Bonding with family, friends, and mentors offers encouragement and joy. Community engagement creates a sense of inclusion. More equitable access to cultural and recreational opportunities helps reduce feelings of isolation while strengthening social connections. These shared experiences, often simple in nature, have a profound impact.
A mentor once told us how attending an event with their mentee opened the door to meaningful conversations:
“Every unique experience with my mentee leads to interesting conversations—about healthy competition, life balance, introverts and extroverts, and the human need to gather in groups. Kids Up Front Vancouver works with 91 Agency Partners. Charites and not-for-profits who support children and youth facing multiple barriers. Together, we use donated ticket and event opportunities to promote mental wellness, foster positive relationships, and give families meaningful shared moments. These experiences provide respite, create memories, and remind young people that they belong.
