Hospice care should be an option for everyone at the end of life.   Focus on the word life for a minute, it's family, its laughter, it's memories, some good, some difficult, its growing, experiencing people and places around us, its physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.  All of these things converge in the final days and weeks of our resident's life at Mariposa House Hospice.  

Before death is life.    It continues on for those left behind.  They carry the legacy of their loved one in their heart and mind after they have left us.   

Being a staff member at MHH has been one of the greatest privilege's of my life.  I am surrounded by compassionate, knowledgeable, competent team members be they staff or volunteers.   

Having lost my own Dad, Bob (Robert - hence the reason I use my middle initial "R" in my signature as I was named after him), and my sister at the age of 31, I have experienced some deep loss personally.   I wish for each loved one that we serve, each resident we care for to feel that their time with Mariposa House Hospice made a difficult time in their life more comfortable, more peaceful.
