This is your opportunity to spotlight hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida during June Awareness Month and any time of the year among your family, friends, neighbours, co-workers and local community. Connect with people across Canada and the world.

Spirit Wheel Walk Run events raise much needed awareness of the conditions and funds for HC programs and services for those impacted by hydrocephalus and/or spina bifida across Canada. Share your story about hydrocephalus and spina bifida and inspire hope!

Challenge Ideas:

• Physical challenge like a solo or family run, walk, hike, wheel. Ask supports to pledge per step or kilometre or lap around your home. 
• All day video/board game challenge with donations per hour of gaming.
• Read-a-thon with a donation per book.
• Dance-a-thon challenge with donations per hour of non-stop dancing.
• Hair challenge-Dye your hair or go big and shave your locks like Tammy did in 2020 for HC. 

• Create a Facebook campaign to support HC. It could be a special occasion like your birthday, anniversary or graduation. Our member Judy F. created a giving page to celebrate her ETV surgery anniversary and asked for donations in support of HC! Scholarship recipient William P. created a birthday fundraiser.
